We know how it feels to own a property in France whilst living abroad. We bought our house 5 years before our full-time move to the Gulf of Saint Tropez. During this time, we encountered all sorts of problems including flooding, subsidence, major plumbing & electrical issues, hornet & rodent infestations and that’s just to mention a few. Residing far away on a different continent we learnt the value of having trusted, capable people in situ who can deal with any issue in a professional, and cost-efficient way. For the past 20 years we’ve also been landlords in different countries for both long and short term lets so we’ve first-hand experience of identifying priorities and avoiding potential pitfalls.
Over the years, our house, Maison Teranga, has undergone a complete renovation so we’ve made our fair share of acquaintances with builders, plumbers, electricians and gardeners. We’ve met and made friends with wonderful and extremely capable and honest people, but it wasn’t an easy ride. We learned lessons the hard way and lost a lot of time and money in the process. But we managed to stay in the saddle! The experience has given us a unique perspective on what it takes to renovate and manage property in the Gulf of Saint Tropez.
Having overseen a large vineyard & estate housing several high-end holiday rentals over a 15-year period, as well as many other privately-owned villas, I’ve benefitted from broad, hands-on experience of managing all kinds of properties across the Gulf of Saint Tropez. From general administration to maintenance, all the way to solving more intricate problems requiring a bit more local know-how and some bright ideas. I’ve built on this to expand my network of trusted tradespeople & service providers. My fluent French language skills are invaluable when it comes to finding the most cost-effective and durable solutions for my clients.

We offer 3 categories of Property Care Packages which we can share with you by e-mail. But as no two properties are the same we can take the time to get to know the unique characteristics of your property to offer a tailor-made, competitively priced package to suit you. Whether your home is solely for your own use or you choose to rent it out when you’re not here, we’ll customise a proposal for you.
We provide the following services:

Keyholding - It’s vital that this is carried out by someone you can trust and who has the capacity to visit on short notice in case of emergencies 24/7

Weekly checks (with reports sent via WhatsApp or email) - It’s important that this is done with integrity so that any problems can be spotted ahead of time

Opening & closing (shutters, air-con/heating, hot water etc.) - Getting your property ready for yours or your guest’s arrival ensures a smooth start to your holiday

Housekeeping - Particularly important if you’re renting out your home. When it comes to cleaning, attention to detail is key to getting good reviews and repeat business

Property Maintenance - All the small things that need to be taken care of regularly, mostly preventative, like ensuring drains/gutters are not getting blocked, air-con vents are cleaned etc. This is particularly relevant if the property is occupied throughout the season

Garden maintenance - From curb appeal to the mandatory ‘debroussaillage’ we ensure your garden looks its best

Minor repairs - Things break and need to be be fixed or replaced, especially if your property is rented. We have experience in finding short-notice, cost-effective solutions

Full refurbishment (including Interior Design) - please refer to our Interior Design section for more details

Shopping (groceries, welcome hampers, cleaning materials, toiletries etc) - We know where to get the best stuff at the best price. From locally grown heirloom tomatoes to the best organic vin rosé and natural handmade soaps, we have you covered!

Mail forwarding - Yes, in France you still get mail! Dealing with this swiftly will help you to stay on top of your admin and prevent future problems

Sustainable Solutions - We can help you make your home function in a greener and more cost effective way, e.g. switching to eco lighting,
